An obsession for a certain instrument

What is this? Many of you should know, especially if you are Chinese. This is my favourite instrument in the entire chinese orchestra. It is called the 'er-hu', some people call it the chinese violin. If you can recall, this is what Francis Ng played in TITS. Hehe. From what I mentioned in the previous recommendation, you should know that I love this instrument. From what I am going to mention in this entry, you will know that I am OBSESSED with the 'erhu'. Of course, I only love it when someone with SKILL plays it. If you are only a beginner, chances are the sound you produce would be a night mare. Better still, there might be no sound at all! (That's me, when I got the chance to make my very first attempt)

OK so after such a long introduction on the instrument, what actually IS my recommendation today? It is the first tvb INSTRUMENTAL which made it into my collection. *claps* whoohoo! It is the one you heard in Lethal Weapons Of Love And Passion, in the Raymond-Charmaine scenes. Basically, I can only remember hearing it twice. First was when Raymond lit water lanterns and sent them flowing down the stream, second was at the end, the very last scene, when Raymond and Charmaine finally reunited because of the beautiful purple flowers. Beautiful scenes, making me miss watching the series all over again...

Basically, this music went perfectly with the scenes, making the whole effect perfect. The 'er-hu' skills are just amazing, especially the high notes. Trust me, it is REALLY not easy to reach the high notes so perfectly. There you go, enjoy, my favourite tvb instrumental!
