Bring the memory back: The most memorable dialogues

Following the win of Kevin and Charmaine in this year's anniversary, it is time to bring back some memories from my favourite series, Yummy Yummy, where these two winners were the leads.

This is a scene in the series Yummy Yummy featuring Kevin's two funny parents, Hui Siu Hung and Kiki Sheung. Basically, that night, Kevin was going to bring her girlfriend back home for dinner. The two parents are very curious whether it is Tavia or Charmaine he was bringing back, so they had a very cute discussion about the two girls, refering to them as the 'char siew bun' and the 'butter custard bun'. It is really funny! Enjoy reading!

Mom: That's all the food you prepared, not good, this is the first time Gai Jai is bringing back his gf...you should have at least a chicken.
Dad: Do we have to prepare such a grand feast? It'll be too much.
Mom: Yeah you're right!.....Hey, which bun do you think our son will bring home? BBQ bun or Li Wong Bun?
Dad: He didn't tell you?
Mom: Didn't you talk to your son? Don't you two do father & son talk?
Dad: Ah...it don't really matter, BBQ bun and Li Wong bun are still buns. I don't think it'll be "Sat Kay Ma" (think it's those yellow stick square cake we eat at cha lau).
Mom: "Sat" your head....I think BBQ bun is better, it matches our son more
Dad: No...I think our son likes Li wong bun more. Li wong bun is more knowledgable/education
Mom: what you talking about Li wong bun is more knowledgable, it's the same as our son.
Dad: What u talking about, they're far apart in knowledge. Li wong bun is more elegant and generous and forgiving. BBQ bun is cho lo (tomboyish/rough)
Mom:What you talking about BBQ bun is cho low..no
Dad: Of course cho low...she is always using her hands and legs with our son while talking
Mom: So who do you think is the BBQ bun?
Dad: Ah yan (Tavia)
Mom: Hey ...NO NO...Mandy is the BBQ bun
Dad: NO....What I think is Li Wong Bun is more elegant, generous and forgiving. BBQ Bun to "Die sick gap die gen" (sorta like cheaper and easy to eat...don't know how to translate this part)
Mom: How can you say this....she's a girl. Anyways, I don't really care which bun it is. If our son likes it, I'll be okay with me.
Dad: Yep yep...it'll be better if our son eats both buns
Mom: Stop talking about nonsense. YOu'll make a fool of yourself if they hear

....." DOOR BELL RINGS ".......

Dad: Lets go out to see which bun it is

....."DOOR OPENS AND IT"S MANDY"......

Dad: Told you it's Li wong bun.
Mandy: What Li wong bun...???
Kevin: Oh no...my dad is saying he wants to eat li wong bun...!!! Dad go eat dinner now..... (the way Kevin said 'sek fun la!' was so cute!)
