Welcome the first female song in my entire collection! It is true, that males’ singing appeal to me more easily, because I’m a female. ~.~ BUT when Miriam is the one singing, it’s a different thing altogether. I love Miriam’s voice, and I believe many of us do too. I love Miriam over Sammi, Joey etc, well, simply because her singing just feels right.

Now let’s look at the song. I love the melody. Not too complicated, not too simple, something which will get into you very easily; When Miriam meets Justin, they indeed come up with something awesome.

Now let’s look at the lyrics. I admit I’m way too young to be a ‘woman with a past’, and really appreciate what it says, but I'm still very much in love with every single phrase. kudos to Justin, who came up with such awesome lyrics, which describe the troubles of women today SO WELL, even though he is a total man/male. Pressure, trying to look strong, longing for a man, loneliness… Thumbs up! The lyrics are very 'human'. To most women, when you read through the lines, you will probably be nodding away. Hehe. This is also the most perfect and suitable song for the series LFD. (Describes Ko Ling and Hilda's innerheart the best)
